hmm, most manhua only have 8 pages every chapter, while this one has at least 10 or more.
the main attraction of the series is the art style, so of course, the panels are bigger to show it off...
and the scenes are more fleshed out and detailed instead of glossed over with a few panels, trying to rush the story
as for the story itself, indeed the pace is slower than most series, but I for one think of it as a nice change
instead of having all the characters, the setting and the story explained/shown in the first few chapters (which could be argued to be overdone at this point)
this adds a more realistic sense of mystery to the series
