Seriously for an adventurer to not listen to orders is a pretty big dealio there, he really should have been reprimanded way more, him crying when anyone else would have died/gravely wounded saving his ass would not undo what happaned.

The kid is the son of a Baron, with at least the prospect of staying a noble if he Achieves something.
The kid is your usual teenager. They can and will pull Stupid Shit. In this case getting an attack of Heroics.

And no-one said there won't be repercussions for the kid... Starting with the other adventurers willing to train him showing exactly why you kisten to orders, and learn to not bite off anything you can't chew...
Up until now they have just been supportive in training a potential new adventurer in the Basics. They haven't gone full Drill Sargeant on him... yet....

Normally no but when your stupidity can/will result in other people dying then we have a problem.

That's still advocating for killing someone through inaction for endangering someone's life. It's extremely disproportionate. I don't think accidental killing or involuntary manslaughter at worst should be punishable by the death. And that's even if it happened, which it didn't, so that "can/will" of yours should be written as "can" unless you intend on discussing something that didn't happen, as it's not applicable to the current situation.

I mean the MC took an attack literally anyone else would have died from to save the guy. If it went with someone else dying or mortally wounded to save him I'd guarentee people would be baying for his blood.

That's still an "if" that didn't happen. But you're still advocating for killing someone for neglect. And people like you are already baying for his blood, so what difference does that make?
