Rei having to repeatedly call Hasta's name to get his attention reminds me of a scene in one of The Thin Man movies. The two main characters keep talking about the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, shortening it to 'Asta'. Meanwhile, their dog, named Asta, is sitting under the table at their feet. Every time he hears his name, and not understanding the context of the hotel because he's a dog, his little tail keeps wagging harder and harder every time they say 'Asta'. Man, that's such a good film series. It's almost ten hours in total, but still totally worth binging.

I am amused by how for some nobles keeping up appearances amongst the other factions is super important, and other nobles don't at all give a crap about that dumb status game.
