@Technobane Ah, but which guildmaster? If the Gilm guildmaster is truly a witch then she might be using illusion or shapeshifting magic. There's even a theory that whenever you see a really hot sorceress that she's actually a pervy old man using magic to look like that. That's why they dress that way. Conversely, a lot of the stereotypical wizard dudes--long beard, robes, big hat, and all--are actually young sorceresses using a magical disguise so that people will treat them seriously for their magical talents, instead of hitting on them or pestering them as to why they don't dress like the slutty sorceress trope (which, as mentioned, are all pervy old men).
