@ElBichoRaro
I'll take that praise when I'm done with the ENTIRE manga! It is too early to celebrate...
Also, it's thanks to Alex: He's doing most of the job. I am but a simple translator.
@LE_MALEM
Thank you so much to you and Alex; you're doing such a lovely job with this manga!!
Just a question about translation though: I vaguely remember in the Brick that Cosette wasn't her real name but a nickname for something completely different? Does the manga follow the book or does it omit a few details like that?
@Unquenchabletintin
I have always known her as Cosette... unless you're talking about a later part of the book where...
Marius mistakes her name for some other name... or it is her Church name.
But as someone who read the book and the manga, I confirm that they're pretty much similar and faithful to the book (well of course they have to omit details here and there: The original Victor Hugo book is huge!) and I confirm that her name is Cosette and not something else.
Thank you so much for the chapter!
Also is anybody else surprised by how tall Javert is compared to Valjean? I feel like in the book, Valjean is definitely portrayed as being taller than pretty much anyone else...
@MamaMaji
Even I noticed that! Despite that, Valjean has the most imposing presence in that picture. Also, Javert for me if I have to compare him to something: He's like a rapier; sharp, edgy, thin and tall. Takahiro realized my vision of Javert perfectly to be completely honest!
