This is a level of pitiful even worse than what Cry has ever exhibited in the past. It actually makes me cringe how bad his inner thoughts were. Hope he gets the golem and everyone that was focused on the mask gets fucked!

Thanks for the translation!!!

Sitry : so all this money was your plan to get back the golem? Cry you know i can't thank you enough with this, you know? really, Thanks.
Tia : so this is all master grand plan to distract the noble with the mask to gain the golem, SASUGA SHISHO!

Welcome to the pain that was reading the novel. He has and will always be this level of pitiful.

I think I said it a long time ago but one of the greatest thing about the manga earlier was how protected the readers were from the inner thoughts of the MC. Because the level at which he's ignorant is pretty irritating. Which the whole point of the story is that this is the joke and the more you discover about how his guild is the top guild.
It's also because he's basically also ignorant of how abusive his demands are to his friends who simp so hard for him that they literally nearly kill themselves constantly and by doing so became superhuman to keep up with his ever increasing selfish demands.

At least with Overlord, while Ainz is somewhat of a doofus, he still has some level of intelligence and awareness that helps, and you can imagine that with enough time he will become the great overlord that everyone perceives him to be. But in this case, this guy really is just oblivious from start to finish, including ignorant to just how unnatural his ability to activate any and all artifacts, even if he has to fully rely on his party members to refuel his artifacts and get the money to be able to buy all the artifacts he can find...
