Incidentally, a note on the main character's name. カンカン in katakana is technically just "Kankan". However, it's also an adjective in hiragana, meaning something like "raging", "blazing with anger", that kind of thing. Given that the other names in the story don't have the same levels of double meaning, I decided not to fully localise it (it's a bit like the old Usagi/Bunny dilemma in terms of Sailor Moon localisation!). I decided on Cancann because Cancan is a French dance and Kankan looked less pleasing.
Perhaps Maru should have been Mal? Well, too late now.
