So are their characters that redeem themselves or do they all sare the same fate?

I have not checked for spoilers, but I have read many of the works by this pair of authors, and they DO NOT like doing redemption. The only characters who get "redeemed" are always the ones who didn´t even want to do bad stuff from the begining but got roped into it by circumstances.
