I'm guessing she could probably sense him earlier despite his stealth skill because of her super hearing. Since she seemingly wears earplugs often though I wonder if her being effectively deaf most of the time has heightened her other senses too?
Seems it's not perfect though, as she was still surprised by him this time, which is why she seemed disgruntled. This is also probably how she noticed the monster while they were in the dungeon.

Honestly when it’s phrased like this, it seems neat. I thought this was blatant wish fulfillment for a while, which it is, but each one having trauma in this world of superpowers is actually facinating. My one issue is that this girl specifically just feels so rushed. Like I blinked and all of a sudden she’s emotionally dependent on him.

I also feel like she got into the story way too fast. I think the author should've spent more time developing the interaction between the MC and the ice princess before introducing new waifus. But maybe he wanted to make it clear what the manga's all about. I dunno, I dunno. Let’s see how the story goes.
