Yep that was the first thing I thought also. Maybe the armor can only drain the monsters he kills? If not he can just buy meat from the market and level up. That would make the story not as interesting 🤔

...If you're so weak, then just...kill the nearby goblins as fast as possible. Don't just kill the big one in front of you. Kill the nearby goblins, then kill the Goblin Legend. Like, there's a shitton of goblins around you right at that moment. Dodge the Goblin Legend and kill the nearby goblins. I feel like such a move is obvious.
