THAT TWIST!! I had a lot of ideas about how this would go down, and what the big reveals would be, but Nikaido not existing, and the protagonist being entirely insane from the very start was not what I expected!

Thanks for the TLs!

Generally not a fan of imaginary characters and any psychological stuff that reduces the meaning that the story has built until now to nothing.

The fact that the scenes playing out were basically the imagination of the dude reading the book seeing as how it's unlikely any log book can be that detailed in reality, that reality conjecture applies to manga readers as well.

Nikaidou also busted out the best Kyara line, felt some residual hype from Usogui.

This reveal wants you to recontextualize all the events that had happened, they didn't cease to exist. All the characters and events written in the logbook did exist, but the details of their actions and which one were which are told by an unreliable storyteller.
Nikaidou is a real kid that was on the ship, her fate is revealed in the next chapter.

It is painful how real the author painted the mind of a killer.
A killer always will not admit his guilt and continue killing....
