Hi everyone! 👋
I am a manga writer looking for a dedicated and passionate artist to collaborate with on a long-term project.
⚠️ CRUCIAL REQUIREMENT: I am looking STRICTLY for a modern Japanese manga art style (similar to Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, or modern Shonen/Seinen). If your style is Western, classic comic book, or old-school, please do not apply.
I need clean ink work, modern designs, and dynamic manga paneling.
🔹 Genre: Action / Psychological Shonen (Inspirations: Hunter x Hunter, Demon Slayer, Monster).
🔹 Setting: Taisho Era, dark and realistic with strong political tensions.
🔹 Pitch: A 30-year-old doctor traumatized by losing his patients survives a monster attack. He wakes up mysteriously rejuvenated and turned into a hybrid, hunted by both humans and demons.
🔹 Progress: The global story is structured with multiple long-term arcs (including a pure political tension arc). Chapter 1 is currently IN PROGRESS (the beginning and the main ideas are fully scripted, and we will finish it together).
🔹 Collaboration: 50/50 profit split on any future publication. I offer total creative freedom for the artist on character designs.
📩 HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested, please send me a DM! We will chat about the story, discuss our long-term goals, and brainstorm major or minor changes to the script together to make it perfect before drawing.
