Oh Mr. D is him, make sense that since journalist Ms. A had ties with him. But this feels out of nowhere, that guy had only like 2-3 chapters where he showed up and had little to none lines.
Especially since someone else said in previous chapters that Mr. D would be Evan's dad but it got me thinking, you know what maybe it's his mom instead. I hope this actually gets resolved quick and reveal that maybe his mom had a part or two in this whole fiasco. It was mentioned that she was againts him being a gunslinger and all. Sounds dumb for that to be the reason but she had always been shown faceless all these times, feels like it is building up to something, I just thought that it would be neat to see her appearance and involvement in the story.
