They were incredibly underdeveloped characters whose only characterization was that they were lovers - a pair of satellite characters.

They weren't relatable, but I still can't say I didn't feel sorry for them.

Side characters with little backstory = like lambs to the slaughter.

That being said nobody here really has much of a backstory. And I have the feeling the prettiest girl in the manga is most likely the one behind the game...

They are lions and they were probably hungry. Don’t underestimate these animals, they’re big and stronger than a normal human.
