I'm happy for the break through, but it must be heart breaking to see this. To know that while you were dining at home probably drinking tea, your daughter was in a trunk of some guys guy begging for your help. The powerlessness this father must feel.

I can't nor do I want to imagine the anguish and hell Sawako and her father experienced and are experiencing. If I were in Takeda sans shoes, I simply would break down if I saw my murdered daughters desperate cries for help inside that trunk.

I personally like that it shows the raw emotions instead of making this softer, this is being a great read
