Probably - the manuscript she was working on was inspired by her feelings about Hu LuoLuo, so it's going to be completely different to anything she's written before. It seems like everyone agrees Song Li can write gud, it's just not necessarily as creative/original/deep as "literary critics" like to claim is important - her gud writin' combined with a genuinely new subject that's really emotionally charged for her is exactly the kind of thing that wins awards.
