I shot myself in the head with a spring-loaded plastic BB gun once and even that hurt like hell

These put out somewhat quite a pressure blast, and will have smallish unburnt powder at high speed.Shot a couple on my palm and arm (at a distance), it can hurt a bit. I would say a bb gun hurts a lot more.
