This story sure doesn't give a fuck about the side characters, they are all completely worthless and gets beaten instantly.
This is making the antagonist seem like an actual talent to be valued.
For MC to use his bug stats to "beat the baddie" seems more like the author has a grudge against popular kids than MC "doing what's right" and "showing off" like MCs are "supposed to".
This manga is the very definition of mediocre. Plot is mediocre, MC is mediocre, side characters are mediocre, power system is mediocre, every thing, every single thing is just mediocre.
This whole arc feels off, mostly cause remember MC was in a life and death game for 3 years then sacrificed himself to save the others but now he's woken up in some alternate reality but clearly has game mechanics so why isn't he questioning that he might still be in the game? Why hasn't he tried to look into anything and us having to waste time in this school arc where the author can't even disguise their distaste to the popular kids prolly from their own school experience.
Also so far this has been the most generic series ever, like someone read SAO and was like "I can do that but a smidgen different". Like I'm positive the twist will be their still in the game cause after he sacrificed himself to save the other 3 they would have used their wish to do something in return wether to restart the game world in some way or another. Especially when we know the 2 girls really liked the MC.

NGL, even though its a generic junk food type manga, this still reads better then the "exiled from the Heroes party" dumpsterfires that have been the fad as of late. The jury is still out as to if this will also go the self-destructing antagonist route or not.
O . o they did? I got the close friends vibe from the healer gal and wants to be more then friends from the gunner, but it didn't feel like both were after him as a partner. Maybe I'm just too used to authors with no sense of moderation. Everything is just various levels of disgust, friend zoned, braindead harem groupie or full throttle yandere.
It's crazy how you can wipe all the dialogues in this manga and the manga would still make complete sense. But this is unlike Fujimoto's work where he uses the paneling to tell the story. It's more like the story is so pathetically generic that the dialogue isn't even needed to understand it.
Is anyone reading this actually reading the dialogue? Well, you shouldn't be. It's complete waste of time. Such 6/10 art is wasted on a 2/10 writing like this.
*I have a hard time not knowing my status. (Not their)
You should stop with the art damaging edits in page 18 you can't even properly see her face anymore...
