i'm surprised it's just not 'slice of life' considering they're family (not that that's stopped mangaka before lol) unless there is supposed to be romantic undertones at the end, b/c there's no incest tag unless it's like "i admire lolita/fashion as someone who is attracted to girls"I guess girl's love tag without romance tag works ?
I took it like siblings who care for each other ? Otherwise yeah I don't think it fits. The "Girl's Love" tag feels out of place, but I am glad I read it. Such a cute story.
Thank you for letting us read such a cute story!!Thanks for reading my first upload! I'll keep practicing my Japanese (and English) and typesetting 🙇♂️
It's a lot easier to just tag things based on what the publisher says than to have to argue about if every series is really this or that.there has to be some sort of quality control and rules when it comes to tagging cuz if you say that two girls who just enjoy the company of each other is enough to be called "girl's love" then EVERY work that has two girls in it with female friendship should be called yuri and Girl's Love.
like cmon. G.I.R.L.S. L.O.V.E. it's literally in the name that two girls should at the very least have romantic interest with each other.
this specific work should have sisters and slice of life tag if you wanna use common sense. it doesn't matter if this was serialized in a "yuri" manga, which is a genre that has lost its meaning entirely.
then there are works where it seems to start of as GL then the author says "nah, we'll just have hetero romance" (Best Friends by Oshima Towa) or "they're just bff" ( A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow). I want a "bait" tag when it comes to these.
