Maybe they did, several times, but as stated in the story, Hina doesn't have a good memory, so she keeps forgetting it. Nami is the only one that seems to talk to her and she is convinced Hina's disease is "normal" so she accepts her the way she is. It seems a better friendship than chapter 3.
