Oleg is the saint of boot licking 🤣
(s)he is one of the few comedic reliefs and is a pretty great character in what is a pretty grim dark serie.
despite how triggered i am for how they genderbent the more important characters, this ones actually makes a "little" bit of sense if you squint really hard.
Oleg´s whole thing is to be a fat cowardly character who will do anything, no mather how degrading to live and prosper.
women were often considered to be more pervasive and submissive than men so it kind of fits the character to be a woman.
while i don't personally consider this to be true, back in medieval times things were quite different so dont get your panties in a twist over this.
and we all know we cant have fat women in manga´s now can we 😅
Fun fact, being fat was considerd a status symbol to menny as only the richest could aford to eat enough to get fat and it was actually considered attractive in some places.
its why alot of old paintings of women usally are abit chubby.
