I read this a while back. A kid, I think high school age, got kidnapped and woke up in a facility with a bunch of other people who proceeded to get consumed by a monster.
I don't know how but he escaped from that room and met some other people. He later found out that some people were eaten and others were made into monsters. Other were used for breeding I think.
A real mess.
The 2nd manga was about an ugly dude who stayed at home most of the time. He had enough money from something or the other. The neighbouring family was a woman, her husband and her daughter. The woman treated him nicely because her father also got shunned for a facial scar, for saving her life in a fire or something. I think the daughter gets kidnapped and the ugly guy tries to help save her.
