I last read it before the big shutdown, and I recall it had been serialized/stopped being scanlated before then, so it’ll probably not have any updates in the last few years.
The MC is a low-level adventurer that lives on a mountain near a city. For reasons I don’t recall, a much higher ranking adventurer, the female MC, really wants him to join her party despite her allies not understanding her fascination. He was old for an adventurer, mid thirties or something, so he might have saved her when she was younger? She creates a number of situations to try and make him prove his powerful he is, like leading a high ranking mo steer to the mountain.
The first big arc I can remember involves the gods of the setting; wherein some people are trying to resurrect an evil gods that looks like a person made of tar, and when the mcs stop it, it reforms into a small child the Mac wants to raise. Additionally, he doesn’t want to leave the mountain because he maintains a shrine there that (outside his knowledge) is inhabited by the now deified soul of his girlfriend, who died very early in their adventuring career. she eventually becomes able to communicate with him, and I don’t rmember further.
Anyone got any ideas for this or something similar? I’ve been using the advanced search for a while and getting nowhere.
