Please, need help searching for this series:

• The main character is male.
• He realizes he has become the villain of a story in which he ultimately dies after becoming a tyrant; not sure if he is a prince or a son of a high noble.
• He strives to avert his own ruin/destruction/death. Notably, he forgives a female maid/servant he messes up (instead of harming her per the original storyline).
• His head maid seems to be his loyal supporter through thick and thin. However, when he questions her about the kingdom's finances, asking her to present him all sorts of financial records, it is discovered that she is actually responsible for a lot of corrupt/irresponsible spending. He catches her desperately trying to forge/cover up the questionable expenses, and has her fired and arrested.
• He appoints the clumsy but good-natured female maid/servant as the new head maid.
• The end of the chapter shows him worried about meeting another female, presumably his fiancee.
