Looking for specific Iseaki Manga (and maybe Anime)

So I'd like to explore the Iseaki-verse a bit beyond the typical scheme (~40yo NEET gets into different world where he's suddenly overpowered; plus/minus harem ).
Instead of that I would like to have....:

[*] some actually OP MC, i.e. someone who's been overpowered or at least powerful even before they got isekaied (e.g. The Ride-On King
[*] ~Reversed Isekai - female gets isekaied (Alice in Wonderland comes to mind or Isekai de "Kuro no Iyashi Te" tte Yobareteimasu, though the latter is basically the typical scheme just with female MC)
[*] classic/must-read/high-rated isekai (e.g. InuYasha, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, etc.)
[*] maybe a story in which the evil side gets a helper/NEET from the real world...? (e.g. My Wife is a Demon Queen
[*] someone from fantasy-world being isekaied to real-world...? Or someone gets isekaied to an unusual wold (i.e. something that is neither fantasy nor video game)...?
[*] any other non-standard isekai you can think of...? Animals being isekaied...? Non-asian-author isekai-comics that are easily accessible via internet (i.e. western-isekai)...?

Preferably: safe for work (some ecchi is fine though) and non-harem (though if it's not the driving factor, it's ok too)
Would be nice, if you'd give me a littl idea on how the isekai you suggest differs from the usual trope/in what of the categories mentioned above it belongs.

Non-humans being isekai'd isn't as rare as you think. We have:

Nihonkoku shoukan (japan)
All the cafe isekai) nobu, omotemashi, izakaya)
Then there's the crapton of isekai'd as another thing (sword, wolf, spider, magic wand, onsen, vending machine, you name it)

I'd say Magic Knight Rayearth (one of the pioneers of another world stories in Japanese media)



Personally the story that I say the best Japanese isekai is RE Zero. It's really well thought of. Worldbuilding, characters and lore.

Disclaimer:
Isekai is the most pulpiest form of an already pulpy medium.
While I'm definitely interested in it as a phenomena I am by far what you'd call a fan and thus maybe not the one to recommend good isekai.

Assuming you are of the opinion such content exists, which is highly debatable. The highest rated ones, at any rate, are not, nor are they the best the genre has to offer.

More conventional isekai:

If you can reconcile with its militaristic/fascy overtones you could try Youjo Senki; it's one of the few isekai that doesn't rely on the JRPG-fantasy tropes that make up 99% of isekai settings.

[li]For reverse/otome isekai take a gander at search results for isekai josei and isekai shoujo listings.

[li]Most popular of these (on MD) seem to be Destruction Flag Noble Girl Villainess I'm a Villainous Daughter, so I'm going to keep the Last Boss[/li]

"Classics" / "Actually good" / Thinking out of the box travelling to different worlds/times ¹; actual isekai might not apply but better than most of the entire genre.

[ Isekai | Comedy | OP-MC ] My personal favorite generic OP MC isekai comedy, though I only watched the anime.
It has a 🎃Halloween🎃 theme, in a non-spooky slice-of-life fashion. Features an out-of-the-way OP MC who generally doesn't interfere with the story (at least not as much as they could). In general, everyone gained their OP powers prior to being isekaied. Does feature some ecchi scenes, at least one of which I would label NSFW. Just... don't watch anime and read manga at work?



Miss Not-So Sidekick
[ Isekai | ⭐️Comedy⭐️ ] A comedy with hints of romance. Not a rom-com though. Romance is the comedy for our MC who thinks she is in the spectator seat! This is an otome isekai, a girl is isekaied into a romance novel with male capture targets. It has lots of gags (Make it to ch2 before judging. Personally not a fan of first chapter)

Ore to Kawazu-san no Isekai Hourouki
[ Isekai | Comedy | OP-MC ] This is not what you asked for at all. Instead, this one pokes fun at the genre itself by taking the overused troupes you hate to the extreme! This comedy is about an absurdly OP MC who has been kidnapped by a frog. Family friendly. Okay, maybe I lied, this is my actual favorite OP MC isekai. (it was highly rated until the last arc IIRC)

Mushoku Tensei ~Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu~
If you can handle it. Contains several dark scenes that I wouldn't read in public. I consider this to be in the classic/highly rated category
[ Isekai | Heavy | Tragedy | Gore | OP-MC ] This OP MC has a slight personality problem IMHO. Isekai with a heavy story. The story and plot are great with a big focus on character development. Its the first Tragedy I followed. I had to power through in the beginning for the MC and plot to grow on me but and am glad I did.

I would also like to +1:
For fluff, The Vengeful White Cat Lounging on the Dragon King's Lap
For romance/drama, Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp
If you like your standard OP MC shounen and just want a female lead, I would +1 Potion Loli and her sister's series, Gold Loli. I believe these are rather generic, but I personally like them. These are by the same author and feel like the same story. If you like one, you will probably like the other.
