I'm enjoying this for the most part, but it seems like the pacing is way too slow. Maybe the source material didn't lend itself well to a manga version. Hopefully the animated version doesn't have the same problem.

The anime is, far as I know, covering an arc from much later in the story that also involves Caules and Olga-Marie.


Honestly, I feel that mysteries should be taken slowly, to make all the details clear, but with the page count per chapter of this manga it does end up a bit too spread out. Best read in one or a few sittings from beginning of a case to the end, imo.
