Fun with progression, as always with these types of comics
But let me vent on the pet dragon for a second:
I'm so tired of like 70% of all fantasy adventure having some cute pet companion that understands human speech, but only communicates in "pyu~" or "kyu~" or whatever. It feels so pointless since all of them have the exact same template personality of "pet.exe" which never brings anything to the story other than providing an easy way for the author to insert some "dialogue" to exposition dump or replace inner thoughts.
Other than that it only adds some cute uwu pet moments which I feel like 99% of the time is a very cheap way of trying to raise the appeal of the work. A lot of the times they will eventually evolve into being able to communicate properly, either through just a higher form of whatever they are or straight up into a humanoid (usually loli), but even then their personality is always stuck on "I'm my masters servant and I'm on their side no matter what!" which again is very template and boring.
Real companion characters are separate from the MC, and have a personality, wants, needs, goals and dreams outside of the MC. You hardly ever see that with pet companions, especially not when it's raised from an egg like this.
Venting over. Sigh, I really hate these with a passion..
