Yeah, it's really rushed. I don't really remember the beginning that well, but it's supposed to be really slow paced and detailed. I don't mind cutting unnecessary details, but the protagonist immediately understands that he's been transmigrated and quickly grasps the situation.
The direction also feels really lackluster. For example, in chapter 2 right after his sister leaves he just randomly appears on the street with new clothes, going out on his errand. Could've shown him getting dressed, getting his keys (and remembering that with Klein's memories). Right after he already appears on a shop, doesn't show him walking up to the shop or recalling something from his memories, so it just feels abrupt since there's no build up.
Anyway, doesn't look like a great adaptation, though it seems these first chapters might be a pilot (?) and they improve on that later on with feedback.
Actually, if these 3 chapters are just some kind of preview it'd make a lot more sense. Hopefully that's the case, since it just keeps jumping from event to event without showing anything in between.

So, going back on this, it looks like it really is a preview instead of a pilot, which makes more sense. I think the art style fits, hopefully they don't sacrifice on quality over time, even if the chapters are short.

Really hope they just go back to the old art style, the new one has style sure but if the chapter are this short it's going to take at leash 10 years to cover what the old story is telling.

Also Don't want to bash the artist but like the art is very stiff, maybe that's what they were going for since they want to make it a painting feel, just saying I'm not a fan of it.

Ця нова маньхуа мені подобається значно більше за попередню адаптацію(малюнки створюють правильно атмосферу)... Дуже дякую команді соловейко(nightingale team) за переклад українською.

With the animation for LoTM dropping soon I was thinking about rereading the novel but now I'm hoping that this remake will continue to update so I can get refreshed on the story

Omg the art is gorgeous! It does feel like it is missing a few things from the original but I can't put my finger on it, but it does seem mostly faithful even if it might be skipping things. I absolutely can't wait for more.
