This whole manga can be summarized as "It is what it is."
Crawling in my skin, these wounds will not heaal. And I dont mean in a sarcastic way too, I dont think the experience will just "heal" away. Meds might help but being dependent on them. I'm not really sure, some might live their best with it but some get even more broken. I hope anyone finding themselves in similar situation the best. Wonder where she got a job now, seems supportive enough.
Thanks for picking this up and completing the series shiro and galactic rolling team.
"People save themselves."
In the end, you just gotta get over it and move on the best you can.
Sure some people might be able to strike back at whatever caused them harm and lasting grief, but you can't be consumed by it into perpetuity.
Aiko doesn't have to be around her father or even her mother if it pains her badly and Aiko at least got to understand that her mother was aggrieved by her own failure to stop Aiko's father or leave the father.
Don't get me wrong, striking back within reason isn't something I'm against- but usually that alone doesn't solve the core issue.
...I kind of wish we got to see what Aiko's younger brother is up to as an adult.
Is he a fanatic?
Just a normal dude that started a family without strong beliefs?
Did he ditch the religion?
Does he hold a grudge against the dad because he figured out what was going on too?
Oh well.
