This guy needs to grow up. Maybe he can change and not be such trash in the future, but not right now. And it’s not her job to fix him. I don’t think love is a good idea for him right now.
We don't actually know what happened with the person that ended up in the hospital. It's easy to say 'just stand above it' but depending on the circumstances there might be real danger associated with it

Inee sliding another parallel in this chapter contrasting the double page ChiyoxEna and KannaxKoharu. But unlike them the KannaxKoharu is on the same side showing their attunement compared to ChiyoxEna's discord.

This arc is getting really good.

Kitano mentions that they "saw Hasumi-san reading a poetry collection when [they] got here", so Hasumi-san got hospitalized over the course the trip. We also have confirmation that bullying is the cause of the hospitalization, with the "putting a target on your back" thing.

What's up with Ena's motivations? I don't see her as the type to do what she did for no reason. Besides, Koharu, who's supposed to be an empath, approves. So, it's not that the two are incompatible or anything. I assume it's because Ena is a very careful cupid, and considers more than love when making a decision. She likely has been on this task for a while, and probably knows the most about the situation out of all the cupids. This would imply that there is something seriously wrong with Kitano and Touma pairing up; I assume the bullying must be really bad.

Also, Ena is really angered by Chiyo's presence. It's kind of funny how most of the fandom thought the four cupids got along; I guess that isn't the case at all. Did Chiyo mess something up in the past, big-time?

I think most people are too quick to blame Touma for his actions. We don't know why he did what he did, first of all. Moreover, Hasumi just got hospitalized and people talk about stabbing each other in this school, so he probably has every reason to be on edge.

Finally, it seems as if Hasumi's bullying only recently got worse: Touma says "we can't do whatever we want anymore". So, what changed exactly?

People need to give Touma a break. It seems like he's scared that Kitano might end up like Hasumi. Considering that she's in the hospital, it's a pretty fair concern. It's also probably why he changed himself to fit in more once he got into high school.

I went back and read the previous chapter. The bullying isn't mentioned anywhere. It's all implied through Kitano's conversation Koharu and what Touma says to Kitano. It makes sense that Kitano wouldn't want to talk about something like that with a stranger, and it also makes sense that Touma wouldn't need to exposit it when talking to Kitano. It's nice that Inee trusts us enough to let us piece it together without awkwardly explaining it outright. Good writing.

Well there's aromantic...
Well sure but if it was impossible wouldn’t they set her up with someone else anyways then, versus him being a candidate, tho their file(?) was about the girl but hopefully there’s not some “ironic” mistake and set her up with a “worse” friend/boy in the group

I’d assume it’s the typical social hierarchy bs expected from teens /JP schools , you’d have less “freedom” in middle school , compared to elementary and such, considering ppl start wearing uniforms and ppl more or less dressed casually for elementary I think (tho I guess it might depend on where you go to), if not there being a group of esp bad delinquents or yakuza kids at their particular school

But even if she doesn’t associate with specific ppl or so I feel like that kinda “timid personality” unfortunately tends to make ppl a target
