Believe me or not, I was actually drawn to how uncannily generic everything was with such dumbfounding consistency - it's almost as if they're trying to prove a point with it. I mean, how else do you explain a manga called "Love" that starts with a chapter called The Beginning where a generic-looking MC confesses to a similarly generic girl, gets accepted, and gets offered to walk home after school, and that's all that happens? Not gonna lie, I find the near-resolute ordinariness of it to be downright fascinating - it's like they've made it into an art form.
