Thanks for picking this back up after so long.

However, was "*=Confident laugh" necessary?

Onomatopoeia is sound written out. The best, and easiest, example is simply an explosion written as "Boom".
For laughter, particularly in the confident female persuasion, a good princess laugh is always a good default.
Which, typically and simply, is "Ohohoho".

"Fufufn" is a good one as well, for a more down-to-earth character like Nagisa. However, the reader should be able to pick up her confidence through her next sentence and her posture. Which is why I question the necessary usage of the translator note.

Hey, it's been 8+ months, I can't fully expect you to not have some rust. Or, if you're new, not expect you to understand everything off the top.

@Vasqueztion

Let me explain. This is a translation without proofreading and typesetting without a quality check.

The way I used to work with my previous team was, I'd give them a raw translation, and a second translator/typesetter does the proofreading. for laughter, in particular, we rarely used the Japanese onomatopoeia. Instead, I'd write the type of laugh I want the typesetter to put on the final release, and they'd come up with an English-sounding laugh.

The translation I posted on r/manga and @Aronida used was from that time.

But this is a good point. The T/Ns I put in the translations do not necessarily have to be in the final release.

I was thinking of a different teacher in this manga, not the one in this chapter
