Absloute work of art; an under rated master piece. I am crying as I type this very comment

this manga is from Migrate, I believe from the download site manga stash (I forgot), At that time reading online was still not popular due to internet speed.

this is the best ecchi romcom I ever read, as you can see all the tropes were prototypes of later series, for example, Nisekoi rip-off The Childhood Promise, Bokutachi wa benkyou dekimasen use the studying theme.

that childhood promise but forgetting the name and face yet remembering the promise premise is indeed very romantic, you can see it in other media as a formula, even Wirlbel in Souso no Frieren uses that formula too.

sadly I believe it will stop at Nisekoi for that formula, the reason is: that it will become hard to relate since it is nearly impossible to forget the name and face, all kids have smartphones and photos are very common so lost contact will rarely occur.

I remember I read it 20+ years ago physical copy. At that time tsundere trope still did not exist yet, as you can see Narusegawa became the tsundere trope but more natural and had reason (her late bloomer, maiden heart, over pride).

too bad Mutsuki did not win, Ken Akamatsu did retcon several times to make Naru win
