Okay, I thought Ah-ram and that junior looked like they were about to have a moment in that previous chapter but then it didn't happen. So, it was intentional. For a moment, I thought the author might repeatedly have them almost meet and tease us, but we actually get to see their relationship in this chapter.
Looks like a neat dynamic, but I will wait a bit to see how this plays out before investing in shipbuilding.
