I agree with this. I doubt Jinju's manipulative or calculated. She's desperate because she's scared of being sold off by the loan sharks, but her giving in to Doyeon I feel like it's more out of temptation (I mean can you blame her? When Doyeon wants her that much and doesn't bother to hide it). Her behavior shows that she knows it's wrong and that she cares about Doyeon's reputation (maybe that's why she went in so much in detail with her sister, big words to scare her away because she knew she couldn't go through with the actual action). But how to put it, she's just going with the flow? I'm guessing her character development will be about her putting herself together.Sure she enjoys sex with doyeon but I don't know if her actions are that calculated... Jinju lives in a costant uncertain situation of "what if my husband returns" so she really doesn't know what tomorrow can bring to her. I feel like jinju just does whatever she deems good enough for her in that moment and that's it. That’s why she is always giving mixed signals that really don't make any sense because I think not even Jinju knows what to do. Sure, she thinks some stuff through and tries to keep doyeon 'under control' but I think doyeon is waaay more calculated, even if her priorities are really messed up rn at least she's extremely aware of that. Jinju? She is really clever of course but tbh I don't know... Asking to stop and then re-initiating it again... Threathening out of desperation to make a scandal out of a (maybe) unplanned sexual relationship... I think that Jinju is way less manipulative and calculated than she seems to be, but i may be wrong lol
As for Doyeon, I'm honestly just looking forward to how she's gonna fuck everyone up for her woman lol. She's been putting on a people pleaser façade and given up on so many things, I guess this is her rebellion stage? I love that for once we get an MC who's got their priorities right.
