I reread the first couple chapters and in ep 1 she thinks "Good experience"...when I didn't know it was a multilevel company... I didn't recognize that term "multilevel" during my first read but apparently it's another word for pyramid selling. Although there are legit companies that follow that model, evidently this one was doing something shady if they could be threatened with calling the police. Now I understand why he would despise her.
