If you want to snipe, at least snipe Degen Project. Many people will praise you for that.

If I had to guess he's doing it because Soseki Scans hides chapters behind patreon paywalls like Galaxy Degen Scans.
I don't mind him sniping them, as I'm not particularly fond of for profit groups, but the quality and translation should at least be somewhat decent.
Edit: I also kind of suspect they're doing this to get Soseki to dump the paywalled chapters.

1. Credit the scans you're taking from.
2. Disclose if you're using MTL, which is likely given this time it appears to be another language, Russian.
3. Not snipe a manga that is already being translated in good standing.
4. Not airbrush out some non-enclosed text just because you can't be arsed to to clean or translate them.

If only the site banned people like you, but all I can do is highlight these issues and urge people not to support this scanlation in any way. I would also point out the translation 'reads' well but is less accurate than even straight MTL of the Japanese raw. If you still want to read something that is basically abridged rather than translated, be my guest. But at least now you know since Lumin doesn't disclose anything.

I don't really care for whatever politics might be going on either or if this is some protest against Soseki. It's not like Lumin gives a shit to explain any of this behavior.

The MTL in this case is pretty bad work, you'd get a lot better result if you'd did it properly. The bad MTL, typesetting, and redrawing makes me suspect that he's only after getting Soseki to drop their paywalled chapters to be honest. Or he's a troll.
If you'd use OCR on the whole chapter with something like Panel Cleaner, fed the whole script to chatgpt, and edited it just a little, you'd get something far more readable than this honestly.
