@Beastmanga @bufu12 My bet would be on her being a slime, and the transformation abillity actually going the other way (from slime to human), but boss is being vague on purpose.

@HYBRID_BEING I wonder if Chief might be a translation of Banchou or Sukeban? That'd at least make it slightly less confusing. (Especially since those words apparently can also be used for leader personalities. And she's defo very ..prominent, in word and deed as well.)

Almost every fantasy manga I recently stumbled upon is the same cut and paste, stringy useless shota as a "boss", and overpowered, big-titted girl as a "subordinate".
