So I'm thinking; the presence of subject Ω (omega(twenty-fourth letter of the greek alphabet)) implies the existence of at least twenty-three more lost children, Α (alpha) to Ψ (psi). But we only have six in total (epsilon, lambda, mu, sigma, tau, and omega) instead of the expected twenty-four. So... maybe the non-existence of the other eighteen might become a plot point in the future.

I wish that was the case, but I don't think we're getting an "in the future" since the next chapter is the last one

I have the other 18, they are in my basement.

I'm thinking the missing letters could very well designate the experiments who were not viable.
