This is both scary and pleasing. In chapter 52, Shamiko started learning from Foxey's sadism love, and now she is outright molesting Momo, or trying to.

Shamiko hasn't absorbed the fact that Momo has an almost pathological defensiveness against people suddenly encroaching on her. It may be a memory of whatever left the scars on her.

Gentle seduction is the best way with Momo. Momo is sick of the war. But her battle reflexes are rock solid.

This takes place long before chapter 52. It happens right around the time Momo falls to darkness unwillingly the first time. Right before they went to get help from Mikan.

If you're insinuate that the maneuver that Momo applied to Shamiko was a reflex, you're wrong.

A reflex is an instant and unconscious response. Momo clearly was rationalizing what she was doing when she knocked Shamiko down, and knocking her down was also not an automatic reaction, since Momo first interrogated Shamiko.

Okay, that's fair enough. "Reflexive" was an incorrect synonym for what might be called "reactive". Momo reacts, as you say very consciously and rationally, but she reacts instead of responds, because she hates sudden encroachment.

Given Momo's normal attitude toward Shamiko, she would never throw or subdue her. Only in this kind of situation does she do it.
