Ryou as a shadow mistress is 10/10. Ogura breaking the 4th wall/panel is 10/10. Ryou bribing Lico was 10/10. Ogura actually getting out of the panels is 10/10. Sensory deprived Shamiko is 11/10. Can it be (season 2 release date) already?!

This was the perfect chance for a "Fresh Peach Whey Protein" cameo and it wasn't even mentioned, maybe next time.
Of course Ryo has read books about that, it's just not the kind of books Momo knows, but thin books. All the lewd fanart already showed she has read it, so this is another one of those that Ito ends up adding into the manga, which is completely fitting for Ryo. Because of course Ito wouldn't know what other manga chapters are being published at the same time in the magazine, she doesn't have access to those, only editors or above do.
Hopefully Ryo learned from her mistakes so she doesn't do that in a non-extra chapter and Shamiko can win. Even Joshua agrees the winner depends on the situation.
Shamiko being deprived of hearing and sight by Momo opens the gates for some neat stuff outside of dreams.

I'm definitely looking forward to season 2. The first one was quite charmingly done.
Citrus Juice was an attack after all, I should have known.
Ryou with horns (and tail), cool. A shame it's unlikely to happen in the regular story so this will have to do.
Edit: Now that I notice, their horns designs are goat(Lilith) sheep(Shamiko) and now bull(Ryou), I wonder if it goes by personality. Edit2: No, maybe Lilith's are more like those of a gazelle or impala, though then it's harder to relate to personality...

Ryou wants to bribe Riko to make Mikan fight Momo (if that is even possible), but Shamiko was the first one who was defeated before she even made the deal lmao
Ugallu is best daughter. Uga!
Momo continues to deflate all of Lilith ideas and has no motivation for anything but workouts and Shamiko... but Mikan is bloodthirsty as usual. As expected of the girl who said putting a tracker on an enemy to snipe them from a distance while they run is "romantic".
Ogura breaks out of Lilith dream and the manga. Is that really something to boast about Kirara Carat?!

There are also a couple of things that you can't really tell by just reading this typeset chapter, so I want to point them out:
1. Ryou references the "you can't leave room unless XX" trope from reading it in books, but the funny thing is that in this issue of Kirara Carat one of the manga actually had such a chapter, so I think Ito directly referenced this month's issue (so those who think Ryou read it somewhere unsavory can be pacified).
2. When Momo threatens Lilith she refers to "making you learn with your body" (roughly translated so it makes sense in English) which is a term that has a very sexual connotation in modern Japanese lingo outside of fighting games. It's basically used to describe scenarios where a cocky girl gets humbled... well you know how. Of course there is a SFW usage of the term that is barely used, but I'm 100% convinced Ito knows the other meaning and made this a double entendre. Momo is scary.
PS: Fresh Peach Pound 'em with a block is the best move I've ever not seen! I couldn't stop laughing 😂
