I sure hope he comes back to mad chimera world soon though. This series is weirdly amazing. I thought it would just be a fun if mindless shock value series, but I got a little more than that. the characters are endearing and memorable, the art is stylish and unique, and the world is fascinating. you go from "what the fuck" to "but WHY the fuck?" I know the ending is gonna be rushed, this was clearly meant to go on longer than four volumes, but the ride has been worth it and I wanna see it through to the end.

One of those cases where the synopsis sounds interesting but the more I look at the other evidence, the more I feel I should be backing away slowly. (Mangaupdates category tags are pretty squicky-sounding...)

that really depends on how much body horror freaky naked cannibal monsters and bloody fight scenes bother you cause that's a constant here. also, there's also at least two panels of unnamed mangled dudes being raped in the first chapter. that kinda graphic depiction dies out after the first chapter since the threat is already established, but it's there and may bother you. honestly it's not as fucked up as something like gantz, the mood is certainly more hopeful and shonen-ey, but if you can't handle it nobody is gonna blame you.
