I know, right? I think she just snapped. Her sanity of keeping Wataru away from Minoru's reach is being overrode by her fucked up love for Minoru. Minoru's psychological torture to her has driven her into madness to the point that she wants to get rid of one leverage she has over Minoru. All because she is willing to do anything to have Minoru by her side even if it's a monstrous manifestation of it.
