Hmmm I do understand other peoples point of views on this one. About the guys being a "replacement" and stuff like that... but the way I like to look at this story is a meeting were both help each other out were she goes through it trying to overcome her way of grieving and putting those feelings into place while the guy overcomes his failures of being a manga artist with her help while she gives him thr validation and push through the story.

Idk I feel like it is way better than thinking the girl is the only one benefiting on this when the guy is also winning quiet a lot in here. Like people say "he is exactly were he wants to be" maybe in the future the drama will hit harder but for now those are my two cents.
They can both definitely get something out of that relationship. Problem is, rotten foundations never lead to long lasting structures.

They can certainly help each other, but as things are going now they are not doing something that is good for either of them. It will not last

Lol 😆 you striked me? I am guessing it was the "old" comment. Lol 🤣 🤣 🤣 The sad part is: I actually agree with you for the most part. But you said you don't like wishy washy. Yet, say nothing is black or white. So, if I decide to steal someone's life's savings it's good? There are more things that are black and white. You need to find out which color it is. If the person you have a relationship with cheats on you. You should never take them back. Because it's like stealing which is black. The trust for that cheating partner is gone. Trust me I used to think everything was gray. But when you think everything is gray. It Let's people take advantage of you. It makes you start having sympathy to criminals. And compassion for criminals is cruelty to the innocent. There is forgiveness but its like a raging alcoholics. They might seem like they are getting better. But as soon as they think "I am okay to drink". they wake up in an alley with no shirt and no wallet. The only thing you can do is your actions and understanding of things around you. But if you blind yourself to understanding. you'll always be blind.

Brother where's your reading comprehension? Where did I say "nothing is black or white". I literally stated THE OPPOSITE of that.

Is english not your first language or are you just dumb? Your comment reads like it's written by a child, if you are one get off the internet ffs. Where are your parents.

Replying cause of a strike react lmao
Ps. You seem to have replied to the wrong comment lol

I'm tired of this wishy washy "everything is shades of Grey, there is no right or wrong". Somethings are definitely black and white. Replacing your husband isn't quite black, but it sure as hell ain't grey nor white.
Lol 😆 took the bait. You literally said wishy washy then gave "replacing your husband" a wishy washy response. I just thought you actually knew what you said in your previous comment but you didn't. lol 🤣 🤣 🤣 maybe you shouldn't be as blind as you obviously are. You can't even see your previous comment. Lol 🤣 🤣 🤣

Seeing how the mc is portrayed as a replacement for her husband doesn't really sit well with me
i understand her grief and why looking at the mc triggers memories of her husband, but it still feels like he's being treated as a standin rather than as his own person
well saying "replacement" might be too far, but it just kinda bugs me
not that im hating or anything like that tho, its just moving too fast
and i understand its been only like 8 chapters and we need more to understand how their relationships together will grow
while probably in the long run it will just be like this,
mc inslump/troubled -> fmc says some supportive words -> husband flashback -> now its mc time to heal fmc wound and repeats
but im still gonna read it nonetheless
*edited to make it clear so that i wont be attacked by some guy who acts having high morale while their comment history were full of comments about degrading woman and other disgusting remarks
The way I understand the subtext so far, she had strong feelings for Otakei when they were in high school, then they drifted apart because life, she fell in love with her husband, and just when this all goes crashing down, her first (quasi-)love makes a fateful reappearance. To me, he’s not a replacement for the husband, it’s about them getting a second chance to make things work.

I hope the dead husband's family aren't angry at her for leaving the funeral - to me that seems like a totally understandable reaction to grief; a frustrating one for others, sure, but understandable.
To me it seems like they're more angry at her not fitting their perfect image of a weeping widow, rather than her running off.
