From an author's perspective... What is the point of the existence of a character like Gae Ddong? To keep annoying the reader? Comedic relief? To make Dolsoe, the main character, look better?
Seriously, if that guy just died in the next chapter I bet nobody (readers) would ever miss him.
In Gae Ddong's defense, he's really good at screwing up and creating events.
I especially loved how he invited his woman out, and when asked why he wanted to meet her in the nighttime and in secret, revealed that they was gonna screw, with implication being that if she refuses, he's going to overpower her anyways.
It was going as he planned, until he got frightened by an aggressive snake, and left his girl to deal with it, taking flight.
Dolsoe had to step in to defend her, got his dick bitten, and subsequently the "poison" sucked out.
Or when everyone was working in the fields, and Gae Ddong led the freckled beauty to a secluded spot for some head, again with the implication that it was going to happen regardless of what she thinks. Once again, that coward dipped out, leaving other women to find his future wife skipping work, mouth glistening in cum.
In short, he's like a horny jizzard that leaves behind his "tail" at the first sign of trouble. If it wasn't for him, Dolsoe would probably keep hands off the freckled beauty, having enough trouble with "official" future wife (slave) and young madam fighting over his D, with the Madam herself wanting a ride.
