I do like how Tigre and Milla don't tiptoe around the intimate nature of their relationship. As far as I know, Madan no Ou series is split into 3 timeline :
1. Where Zhcted and Brune went to war first (madan no ou to Vanadis)
2. Where Zhcted and Brune made an alliance to defeat Muozinel first (madan no ou to Michelia)
3. ? (I forgot 😂)
Either way this timeline is clearly superior in term of romance and plot progression compared to the original...
