Yamori's the extrovert of the pair, right? And a dense one at that. I'd say he's confused why Mori would be concerned about him hanging out with that Senpai, because it wouldn't have mattered to him before he changed his look, and to him Mori is acting strange. Or maybe he is indeed aware, but is ticked off that Mori is "treating him like a girl," which we see he doesn't really want Mori to do.

The word choice in the raws is 関係なくない？which means "It doesn't matter" or "That's irrelevant" - I'll leave it up to your interpretation.
