I wonder if this is a plot hole, considering Dorothy later reveals her whole objective is to find the stolen Arms of her homeland, ESPECIALLY Babboo. Perhaps she was ok with Ginta having it? Hard to say, considering the author probably didn't even have that plot point in mind yet.
