I love how Aka finally explained the basic plot formula of this manga in just one villainous monologue in one chapter. So, I'm betting Mikel will need to pull off a bingo of prince x princess pairings from European fairy tales to save them from various versions of curses based on the lore of the original tales.

As for the speculations that Aka will abandon the story midway again, although I don't know what his plans are, this chapter just feels like the end of the introductory first arc rather than any kind of final of the story in general.

Now that we know the mechanics of this battle manga, one has to wonder what will happen to the princesses whose curses will remain without their companions receiving the Thorny Crown.

Dont you love it when the destined to lose introductory boss of your ow the edge manga is more compelling than whatever you were pulling with your MCs so far?
Why bother at this point?
