I'm starting to find my own fascination with the way Japanese fantasy so often operates within the rules of role-playing games. But seriously, I'm even intrigued by how much the exposition in this chapter resembles the cutscene after defeating the first boss in a JRPG like Tales of Arise. I wonder what fairy tale the next prince and princess will be from.

Okay so we got some clue on Mikel on what he is from his dad's name. Not sure who the two women are meant to be except I keep either thinking "mother goose" or "fairy godmothers"
